Morocco
In 2022 I was supposed to finally go to Yellowstone, after two years of pandemic that disrupted everybody's life. But the biggest flood in the history of the park hit and the trip got canceled. But my craving for traveling and discovering new places stayed, so I had to rework my schedule. It was at this point that the opportunity to go to Morocco came and I thought… why not?
It proved to be the right decision. I met a group of truly amazing people with whom I had a great time, and I discovered a place that personally I’ve always underestimated.
Morocco is truly a great country: the food is absolutely outstanding, the markets are overflowing with colours, the kasbahs are incredible and the people are among the nicest I’ve ever come across.
But there is something that left me speechless: the sand desert. It is something that has to be experienced at least once in a lifetime, because its impossible to describe the softness of the sand, the quiet silence that surrounds you, the sense of serenity that the caravans that pass through it convey, almost making you think you’re traveling through time to a distant past.
